Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 - Lego Gets Cooler!
Leave the first response September 10, 2009 / Posted in News, RobotsWhen Gadgetsaurus was younger Lego was at best something you could build houses with or perhaps even clunky looking cars. It’s come along long way since, well, just a few years back (cough), and now covers a multitude of subjects including Star Wars and the amazing Mindstorms range. This range now includes the fantastic Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0.
If you’re into Lego and robots then this is what you want at the top of your Christmas List for 2009. It’s the Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 - it allows you to build a variety of bots including Shooterbot, Robogator and Alpha Rex. Get creative and design your own too.
You can control your creations via computer and mobile (bluetooth) thanks to a 32-bit microprocessor, LCD display, loudspeaker and control panel. It’s compatible with both PC and Mac by the way.
Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 costs £199.99 from FIrebox. Although it sounds expensive, when compared to other robots, for example Pleo which costs £229, you’re getting a much more sophisticated robot alongside the creativity that is Lego.
