On a long list of must have gadgets, this MSN Webcam missile launcher would come quite a long way down - and at £49.95 from Firebox or even £39.99 from Play.com it’s an expensive office toy!

The launcher, a revamped USB Missile Launcher, is now a combined webcam and plastic dart shooting toy. It does have some nice features like being able to operate it via messenger from anywhere in the world (the fun of firing plastic missiles at your boss when away from the office does sound appealing).

If your friends are all insane enough to spend nearly £50 on this gadget then you can also operate their missile launchers too.

So why is Gadgetsaurus not impressed?

Firstly, it’s an expensive webcam and secondly it’s an expensive replacement for the screwed up ball of the paper. Once you’ve fired your three missiles you then have to crawl around the office floor searching for your weapons before continuing the battle. In the mean time your colleagues miffed at your war games have started to use your webcam as an endoscope on you!
